Transforming Lives This World Water Day
On World Water Day "Rotary New Alipore" & the RCC "Sandeshkhali Maa Saroda Women and Rural welfare Society" together has developed a key series of events & made a focused impact among ~600 students & local communities in Sunderban that highlighted the importance of life-changing access to clean water and the sustainable management of safe drinking water resources.
Rotary New Alipore & the RCC partners has generated a plethora of benefits to students and communities, including health, education, improved living standards and employment, and a variety of ecosystem services to more than 22000 people everyday. It is through these benefits that clean water leads to prosperity. And equitable sharing of these benefits promotes peace.
