Workshop on MEnstrual Hygiene
As part of the Rotary mandate to create awareness in women, the Womens Empowerment committee under RTn Shampa Ghose organised a workshop at RAni Birla Girls College. Our own Rotarian Dr Ayusmati Thakur held a lecture on Menstrual issues and awareness of hygiene with the aid of power point presentation. She also kept the whole lecture interactive and the large audience of around 40 students and 10 teachers participated willingly. The Hony Secretary inaugurated the event by highlighting the activities by Rotary on womens empowerment. The programme was very successful and many questions were raised at the end of the lecture.
