Mangrove forests act as natural buffers against coastal erosion, storm surges, and tsunamis. The dense root systems of mangroves stabilize shorelines, reducing the impact of waves and protecting coastal communities and infrastructure from damage. To protect environment Rotary Club of Calcutta Kankurgachi took a noble endeavor by planting 100 Mangrove saplings at Shat Mile village near Mousuni Island in Sundarban on 29th of January
