"Matri Raksha"- Fights Anaemia GG 1991152 - (Camp 42)
“Matri Raksha”– Fighting Anaemia Camp (42nd camp) was held by Rotary Club of Salt Lake Metropolitan Kolkata on 10th March, 2024, at Anahit Housing Complex, Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata – 700161.
Total 29 women were screened their Hb% level for Anaemia, High BP and Sugar by our technical team. Each patient was checked by Dr. Chitra Ray & Dr. Debasmita Mukhopadhyaya and given free iron for 2 to 6 months to anaemic patients with deworming and calcium medicine as required. They were also told about the nutrition and balanced diet with nutritional booklet by the doctors.
According to camp analysis, 27 (93%) had haemoglobin level below 12 gm. /dl and 19 (65.5%) had severe anaemia (<10 gm.).
