Blanket distribution at slum area Ranabhutia Natun Para , Mukundapur :- A little help for a big smile
In the heart of Kolkata, amidst the narrow lanes and crowded dwellings, lies a community struggling to cope with the harsh realities of poverty and adverse weather conditions. In response to the pressing need for warmth and comfort during the cold winter months, a blanket distribution initiative was launched to provide solace to the residents of the local slum area at Ranabhutia Natun Para near Mukundapur. 50 Nos blanket were arranged from Rotary Club of Park Point on subsidized rate under district blanket project. On 14th January 2024 , these blankets were distributed to identified beneficiaries.For the residents of the slum, the blankets represented a beacon of hope amidst the darkness of poverty and deprivation. . We could bring smile on the face of 50 person in the need by this small initiative.
