Eye Screening Camp
The club organised an Eye Screening Camp at premises of Hindustan Sangha Club, Behala.
Total patients served was 205. Of them 115 needed specs and 9 were selected for cataract surgery. First group will receive free spectacles from the club, and the second group will undergo surgery on 19th March at GRSM Rotary Eye Hospital, Budge Budge.
The event was graced by Mr. Rupak Ganguly, Councillor, 121 Ward of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, and attended by PPs Rtn Debidas Ganguly, Rtn Debabrata Joardar, Rtn Amaresh Bhattacharya, Rtn Kaushik Bhattacharyya and Rtn Manika Karmakar – who also actively participated in eye testing, and Rtn Sunit Roy who organised the camp.
Partner in service were GRSM Rotary Eye Hospital, Budge Budge and Hindustan Sangha Club, Behala.
