Car/bike & Tableau rally for polio eracdication
On National Immunisation Day, to attain the goal of polio eradication, RC Saltlake City organized Car/bike & Tableau rally starting from Prakash Bhavan and ending at Polio Hospital ,Beleghata.15 Clubs participated in the rally. Each club contributed Rs.1500/- on account of cost of fruits packets for distribution to the Polio patients at the aforementioned hospital. This amount is also inclusive of costs of caps and aprons and food packets distributed to all the Rotarians who participated. Rtn. Tinku( Ashim Guha Roy-Additional Chief Aide) was the Co-ordinator.There was a flag off ceremony in the presence of PDG Raju Rajgeria,PDG Prabir Chatterjee and DGND Tapas Bhattacharjee.PDG Pinaki Prasad Ghosh was present at the finishing point to distribute certificates to the participant clubs. Members who joined from our club were President Dinesh Chandra Ganguly and PE Nupur Goswami.
