Disease Prevention Awareness Health Camp at Bijoygarh Balika Vidyapith, Bijoygarh, Jadavpur
A health education initiative for underprivileged students was organized at Bijoygarh Balika Vidyapith, focusing on blood grouping and thalasemia prevention. Students were briefed on the importance of blood grouping, had their blood samples collected for analysis, and received individual blood grouping cards. Renowned Gynecologist Dr. Diebyendu Banerjee delivered a lecture on thalassemia and its prevention, emphasizing the role of blood donation for thalassemia patients. This initiative aimed to raise health awareness and empower students to make informed decisions about their health.
