National Immunization Day
On the crisp morning of the 3rd of March 2024, a rally was held, from Sinthee More to the Barrackpore Administrative Building. The esteemed DGND Tapas Bhattacharya, in a ceremonial gesture, unfurled the commencement of this undertaking. The cavalcade, comprised a procession of 20 bikers accompanied by striking tabloids and embellished automobiles, alongside the stalwart presence of 80 Rotarians. Barrackpore Commissionrate and all precincts of local law enforcement, created a verdant corridor from Baranagar to Barrackpore. The eminent Baranagar health officer Dr. Jaydeep Majumdar, and Dr. Pranab Majumdar, Dr. Somnath Mondol from Titagarh Municipality along with Dr. Soumya Sarkar the State Medical Officer from the World Health Organization, graced the occasion, contributing their erudition to the laudable cause of polio eradication.
