Food distribution at Shantinagar Shelter home
On 19th February members of RC Aabahamaan visited a shelter for abandoned people of different ages, comprising of both male and female members. We donated Rs. 2000 for their food, which they used to buy a great quantity of muri, chanchur and biscuits for 10 to 12 days. Many of the members were physically challenged and mentally ill, and this gesture made them visibly happy. Our NGO representative Mr. Arun Sinha was also present. Rotarians present were Rtn. Jnan Ghosh (CP), Rtn. Subijit Sarkar (Sergeant at arms) Dr. Tridib Sarkar (Secretary elect) and Rtn. Anindita Sarkar.
