Blood Donation Camp
The Rotary Club of Kolkata Benevolence collaborated with Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Engineering College to organize a successful blood donation camp on March 1, 2024. 85 donors gave blood and most of them are first time donor .
Blood donation is crucial before summer in Bengal, as the demand for blood typically rises during the hot months. Increased incidents of accidents, heat-related illnesses, and diseases can lead to a higher need for blood transfusions. Donating before summer helps ensure an adequate blood supply to meet these potential surges in demand, ultimately saving lives and supporting healthcare services.
