Alzheimers Disease Awareness & Felicitation
RC Calcutta East Central organised a Special Meeting to Felicitate two of their members for their work in spreading awareness and empowering marginalised section of society. Veteran Actor Sri Victor Banerjee( A Honorary Member of RC Calcutta East Central) for his splendid work and running Moran Blind School, situated at Dibrugarh, Assam. Rtn. Dr. Shuvendu Sen, internationally recognized award winning physician, author and speaker ( An active member of RC Calcutta East Central) for his reasearch on Alzheimers Disease.
Both were felicitated by DG 2023-24 Rtn. Hiralal Yadav and DGN Rtn. Dr. Ramendu Homchaudhuri.
A sort film titled The Unseen Song was screened to show the work being done at Moran Blind School, Dibrugarh, that has been established by Sri Victor Banerjee with help of several trustees. Nautilus Award winner Dr. Shuvendu Sen spoke about his upcoming book. Many PDG & District officials attended the programme. Sri Rupak Barua CEO of AMRI Hospital attended as special Guest.
