"Matri Raksha"- Fights Anaemia GG 1991152 - (Camp 38)
“Matri Raksha”– Fighting Anaemia (38th Camp) was organised by Rotary Club of Salt Lake Metropolitan Kolkata in association with Rotary Club of Dumdum. Total 122 women were screened their Hb% level for Anaemia, High BP and Sugar by our technical team. Each patient was checked by Dr. Chitra Ray and Dr. Debasmita Mukhopadhyay and given free iron for 2 to 6 months to anaemic patients with deworming and calcium medicine and informed about nutritional diet with booklets.
According to camp analysis, 110 (90%) had haemoglobin level below 12 mg. /dl and 74 (60.6%) had severe anaemia (<10 mg.). Around 20 patients (16.4%) were suffering from Diabetes (DM), 40 patients (32.7%) were Hypertensive (HTN) and referred to physician.
