16th Thalassemia Awareness Cum Carrier Detection Camp (2023-24) of R. C. Haldia (District 3291) at Siddha Sashi Sripati Vidyabhaban, Siddha, Kolaghat, Purba Medinipur. was organized on 8th February 2024. 125 Students participated in Awareness programme & 102 Students gave their blood for Carrier Detection. Dr. Sushanta Kumar Bhoumik (Head Master) will do the Counseling of carrier Students their Families after getting the result. The project was in collaboration with Thalassemia Control Unit, Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyar Govt. Medical College & Hospital. Councilor Dr. Rup Kalyan delivers there speech on Thalassemia Awareness.
