Thalassemia Awareness program at Serampur College
A Thalassemia Awareness Program was held at Serampur College. Rtn. Dr. R. Hom Chowdhury -DGE was the main speaker. Principal of the College Rev Dr. Subhra S. Sarkar inaugurated the session. Rtn. Dr. Bandana Hom Chowdhury spoke on the importance of healthy life style. Club President Rtn. Anit Guhathakurta spoke on the activities of RC of Calcutta Sun City. Club Secretary spoke on the importance of such awareness programs. Rtn. Dr. Subir Bera gave Vote of thanks to the college authorities for arranging such social awareness program. Various queries raised by the students on prevention and eradication of thalassemia was addressed by the speaker.
