Class VI, VII and VIII got the information about the constituents of air and the hands-on experiment about the three phases of matters - solid, liquid and gases and they have seen ice was melting to water and water vapour was coming out from hot water. They got the idea of latent heat of melting of ice as 80cal /gm and that of water boiling to vapour was 536cal/gm. The made model of solid ice, liquid water and water vapour.
