To promote school education among village children, the Rotary Club of Calcutta Kankurgachi distributed vibrant educational kits to 25 underprivileged students, bringing smiles to their faces. Each kit included 5 copybooks, pencil box sets, pens, and various colorful pencils. Notably, every pencil box and copybook were adorned with the Rotary logo to enhance the public image of Rotary. Additionally, the club contributed by donating two footballs to a group of young students, fostering the development of their sports skills. This comprehensive literacy project was conducted under the district banner Easy School 2 and was closely monitored by the Clubs Literacy Chair, Rtn. Ruma Sarkar.
