Diabetes Screening and Eye Test Camp with DAY
Diabetes Awareness Camp and screening for the underprivileged residents of nearby locality was conducted with the goal to educate the participants on healthy lifestyle and treatment to prevent, manage and control Diabetes. The camp was held in collaboration with NGO Diabetes Awareness and You (DAY) and will cater to 100 people. The camp will include Diabetes screening - (RBS, BP, BMI for all and Neuropathy & Retinopathy Test for PWD/newly diagnosed people) followed by comprehensive eye screening by Optometrist. FREE Cataract Surgery for the diagnosed patient.
Diabetes Education lecture was delivered by RTN Dr. Sujoy Majumdar. RCCP will partner with DAY for the Awareness and Diabetes Screening ONLY
