Update on Glaucoma Project
On 12th Oct 2023, President Paromita D Dutta, IPP Pausali Paul, PP Kunal Ray, PP Jaydeb Banerjee and President Elect Mainak Sengupta went to visit Vivekananda Mission Ashram Eye Hospital at Amtala to have an update of the glaucoma project. On the day, 4 patients from the family concerned were called by the Doctors in charge for a check-up. Among them, 3 have been recently operated in the clinic. The doctors confirmed that their progress is good. The other patient who has started showing symptoms was also checked for his infra ocular pressure. The doctors opted for a few more days of medication before going for surgery. The RCCJ team met the doctors in charge, Dr. Asim Sil and Dr. Subhra Sil and initiated a discussion about how to continue the project funding.
