Glaucoma Project
RCCJ supported the transport and logistics of 13 individuals from the glaucoma family who came for check up in the Vivekananda Mission Ashram Clinic. Of the 13, three were post op follow ups. One patient who was to be admitted today for trab surgery couldn’t be admitted due to medical reasons. But he is doing okay with regards to intra ocular pressure and thus a delay in operation shouldn’t be much to be worried about. All the patients were given free medicines, some of which are quite expensive and almost unaffordable by the poorer section of the society. Next clinic visit day is on 12th Oct.
