Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer Screening for women of 30 to 60 years
Rotary Club of Calcutta Empathy arranged Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer Screening for women of 30 to 60 years at Empathy Medicare , Sinthee for the local population of Ward 1 and 2 of Kolkata, so that the dreadful disease can be detected early and treatment started. This is critical , since the cost of the tests are approximately Rs 3000 and Rs 4000 Each , and it is not feasible for the underprivileged women of the local population to afford this most important screening and detection for women of this specific age group . Since the tests are extremely personal in nature, hence, it is not feasible to take the pictures while the screening and tests are ongoing . Hence, all pictures have been taken outside the procedure rooms . Rtn Rina Sinha Roy graced the occasion alongwith Rtn Pamela from the District RID 3291 officials.
