Mothers Apt Appreciation (MAA) Project
Under previleged widows are the most vulnerable section in our society and Rotary Club of Calcutta North East has stood by 4600 such mothers since 2016 through its flagship Project MAA. Saree, bed sheet, blanket, mattress, mosquito net, slippers, umbrella, hygiene kit, biscuit, dry fruit and lunch packets were distributed among widowed mothers. This year in 2023 total number of beneficiaries were 700 such mothers amongs which Rotary Club of Calcutta Dalhousie sponsored kits for 6 widowed mothers.
