Awareness of Cervical Cancer and detection held at Kumudini Kanya Vidyamandir
On 5th January Awareness of Cervical Cancer and detection was held at Kumudini Kanya Vidyamandir. A team of four medical technicians visited from Chittarangan Cancer Hospital. They gave awareness speeches to 40 participants (underprivileged women ).30 women were checked up by the technicians for cancer detection. It was a very successful program. It was made possible due to the effort given by head teacher of the above said School. Other teachers also cooperated greatly. Rotarians participated were Rtn.Bela Basu,Rtn.Ananya Guha,Rtn.Indrani Sarkar and Rtn.Mili Maitra.
