Glaucoma Awareness and Detection camp
Glaucoma screening and counselling was done in a village at North 24 Parganas on 15th July 2023. This is the first phase of the study. The background of this work will be discussed in the next RCM on 26.07.23 after screening of a film based on this. This is a very interesting short Docu-fiction, where our very own Rtn. Dr Mainak SenGupta plays the Protagonist.The film is called "Vision of the Blind Lady." It is directed by Rumpa Guin and Subhabrata Dey.This docu-fiction is based on research work of Dr. Arijit Mukhopadhyay that he conducted in IICB under the supervision of PP Rtn. Prof. Dr. Kunal Ray, 20 years back.
