Thalassemia Awareness Seminar in Girls School
On 03rd January an Awareness Seminar on Thallasemia was conducted in Bethune Collegiate Girls School. The School was established in 1849 and is one of the oldest School for Girls in India. Rtn. Dr. R. Hom Chowdhury is the main speaker. He gave an audio-visual presentation in his inimitable style. The girl students were very enthusiastic and were listening to the speaker with great attention. Many parents and Staff teachers of the School was present. The Inaugural address was given by Head Mistress Smt. Sharbari Bhattacharjee. Queries raised by the audience was fully explained after the session. Thanks giving was done by Presidents of both the Rotary Clubs.
