Basic Education and Literacy
Members of Calcutta Sun City visited a tribal school in a remote area of Sunderban. The Primary School in the name of "Joygopalpur Adivashi Abaitanik Prathamik Vidyalaya" was adopted by our Club for all round development by providing various facilities and Teaching Aids. During our interaction with School Authorities we found out the immediate requirements of this school from their Head Teacher Mr. Sukhdev Bar. On the spot 10 number School benches was approved by the visiting team and the school was promised necessary funding for the same. out of a total strength of 140 students, 50 were present due to school holidays. Sweets and Snacks were distributed on the occasion to all the 50 students.
