MEET a WISH
As one of the 5 partners of Rotary Five group our club participated in a wishes fulfilling drive for terminally ill patients, most of whom were juveniles, at NRS Hospital, Sealdah. Whereas it was very heartening to see the faces of children lighting up with joy upon receiving their favorite toys, gadgets etc…. it was also very painful to hear the sad news of three of 108 children who had sent in their wishes to be fulfilled, actually could not make it to the day of their wishes getting met as they succumbed to the deadly disease before it.
