Observance of World Heart Day under Project Positive Health
Rotary Club of Calcutta South Circle observed the World Heart Day participating in ‘Project Positive Health’ (PPH) on 29th September 2023. Our Club, in association with Bidyadharpur Naba-Uday Samity, a Public Charitable Trust and with support from Accuhealth Diagnostic Centre in Samity’s premise at Bidyadharpur, South 24 Parganas. Under the supervision of one of the local doctors the technicians from Accuhealth conducted ‘Know Your Number’ by testing height, weight, blood pressure, Random Blood Suger and ECG of 50 odd people from the surrounding locality. Most of those people belong to underprivileged section of the society. A basic medical consultation was also provided by the Doctor based upon their basic health parameters duly tested.
