Student Sponsorship for Vocational Training
Payel Mondal from Batighar Pathshala, comes from an impoverished family of 6 members. Her mother is a domestic maid. Father does not provide any support. Payel has done a certification course on sewing from Hope International but was not able to find work. RCCP is helping Payel with further skill development and potential earning opportunity with NSS. She will learn techniques in stitching etc. and also work in the Production unit, for which she will be eligible for some wages.
Since Payel is very poor, she requires monetary help with the tuition fee (INR 150/month) and bus fare (INR 38 a day).
RCCP will fund this amount of INR 750/month for 6 months
RTN Nabanita Khan is the Project lead and was supported by RTN Madhumita Bannerjee. Project was executed on 29th Nov.
