"Matri Raksha"- Fights Anaemia GG 1991152 - (Camp 35)
District Matri Raksha Camp (35th) camp was organised by Rotary Club of Salt Lake Metropolitan Kolkata, Rotary Club of Serampore in association with Swasthya Mela Committee on 17th December 2023 at Damodar Sangha Club, Konnagar Nawapara, Konnagar, West Bengal 712234. Total 131 women were registered. Dr. Debasmita and Dr. Tripti gave awareness talk to assembled women on Aneamia and Cervical cancer awareness. All women were screened their Hb% level for Anaemia, High BP and Sugar by our technical team. Each patient was checked by Dr. Debasmita Mukhopadhyay and Dr. Tripti Mukherjee and given free iron for 3 to 6 months, deworming and calcium medicine.
Impact of the Camp : Anaemic detected = 95 (73%) and severe anaemic = 45 (34.3%). Hypertensive = 34 (26%) and Diabetic = 14 (10.7%)
