"Matri Raksha"- Fights Anaemia GG 1991152 - (Camp 34)
34th Camp of Matri Raksha Project was held by Rotary Club of Salt Lake Metropolitan Kolkata inassociation Kolkata Menopause Society & organized by Nimbark Gouseva Trust on 26th November 2023 at Naopara, Barasat, Kolkata-700128. About 94 women were screened for High BP, Sugar, Anaemia by our technical team.
Each patient was checked by Dr. Chaitali Ray and Dr. Shabana Roze Choudhury of KMS and given free iron for 3 to 6 months, deworming and calcium medicine. In this camp Salt Lake Sanskrit Sansad offered sumptuous vegetarian lunch to each person, to the extent of 250.
Impact of the camp : 66 (70%) patient were detected anaemic and 30 (32%) were severe anaemic. Hypertensive = 31 (33%) and Diabetic = 14(15)
