Project Maa
Underprivileged widows are the most vulnerable section in our society and Rotary Club of Calcutta North East has stood by 4600 such mothers since 2016 through its Flagship Project "MAA" (MOTHERS APT APPRECIATION). In 2023, we have resolved to serve 700 such mothers on 3rd December at Simla Byayam Samity, Girish Park. A kit containing essential materials for daily use will be handed over to these mothers.
The kit will consist of the following: Sarees, Bed sheet, Blanket, Mattress, Mosquito Net, Slippers, Umbrella, Hygiene Kit, Biscuit, Dry Food,and Lunch Packet
Mahanagar contributed for 25 Kits for the same.
