Break the barrier

A dream transformed into reality during World Human Rights Week as Rotary Club of Kolkata Benevolence proudly inaugurated ASHRAY an evening shelter for vulnerable children in the red-light area. This vision aimed to provide these children with a daily respite, offering a wholesome environment rarely found in the evenings of such areas. Ashray serves as more than just a sanctuary; it acts as a bridge connecting two disparate worlds. The goal is to integrate these children into the mainstream of society, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding between different communities. This project embodies the hope of a brighter future for these young souls, transcending the boundaries that often confine them. Within this newfound haven, the children will engage in educational pursuits, participate in enriching extracurricular activities, and partake in skill-building endeavors that lay the foundation for their future. This initiative is not merely about offering shelter; its a commitment to nurturing their potential, empowering them with knowledge, and paving the way for a brighter and more promising tomorrow.
