Menstrual health management awareness for 5th and 7th graders.
On the 5th of December Rotary club of Calcutta members visited Assembly of God Church school in Tangra and spread the awareness about menstrual health and hygiene management. 50 girls of 5th and 7th grade were given an audio visual animated presentation by UNICEF. President Mandira Mukherjee and Dr. Rita Chaterjee ( treasurer) explained the nuances of the subject to the students who were highly grateful. Sanitary pads and soaps were donated. Principal Renu Abraham was happy and RC Avyanna felt satisfied. This was followed by food tasting at the cookery class sponsored by RC Avyanna.
