Medical Camp for Orphan Children
We conducted a medical camp for 33 nos. destitute children aged between 6 to 17 years on July 1 at Asian Sahyogi Sanstha India(Kolkata). These children are found in streets, Parks, Bus and Rail stations and are usually rescued by Kolkata Police and brought here for education and vocational training. We held a medical camp for these children and also distributed health supplements as suggested by the Doctors. We distributed 4 fans for their Dormitories. We talked to them about the importance of Health and environment. This program was attended by 23 Nos. rotarians from RC calcutta Sun City. The children entertained Rotarians of RC Calcutta Sun City (73258), by way of a cultural program and Thank you cards specially prepared by the children for the occasion were given to the Doctors by the children.
