MAA (Mothers Apt Appreciation)
MAA (Mother’s Apt Appreciation), a project initiated by RC of Calcutta North East,7 years ago with the intention to provide support to Widows, by helping them with basic supplies like bedsheet, blanket, saree, mattress, mosquito net, slippers, umbrella, hygiene kit, biscuits, dry food and ration to sustain through tough times.
It is a matter of pride for Rotary Club of Calcutta Metropolitan to associate with it and be a part of the journey for years, where the kit distribution that started with small numbers, crossed 1000 numbers last year and this year it was more selective and we reached 700 widows.
