Eazy School 2 - an Initiative of District 3291
Second Eazy School 2 Project, a District 3291 initiative, was held on Sep 13, 2023 at the Baranagar Mohan Girls’ High School. This was a seminar on Menstrual Health & Hygiene Awareness for Girls followed by free sanitary napkin distribution.
6 Rotarians were present in this event. 110 students and several teaching personnel of the school attended this seminar. Event started with a brief intro by the Head Mistress, Mrs G Mukherjee, followed by a brief speech from the President Rtn R Basu. Rtn Dr Dibyendu Banerjee, a noted Gynaecologist, conducted the seminar in an effective manner. At the end of the seminar, students were asked to write their questions anonymously. Rtn Dr Banerjee, answered and explained all the questions in a very simple language. This was later very much appreciated by all present. After this seminar First Lady and Anns distributed free sanitary napkins to all present
