Eazy School 2, an Initiative of District 3291 with support from our own RCC
With September being the Basic Education and Literacy Month, our first Eazy School 2 Project, a District 3291 initiative, was held on Sep 8, 2023 at the Sister Nivedita Children Home, Dakshineswar. 9 Rotarians, Anns, 2 RCC members were present in this event along with Rtn. Tarak Sanyal, Coordinator of our District Literacy Committee. 65 students and 7 teaching personnel of the school were also present. Event started with a brief Introduction by the Head Mistress followed by brief speeches from Rtn. T Sanyal, President Rtn. R Basu and Secretary, Rtn. S Sinha. Each of them touched upon various important areas of the event. Students took part in groups in recitation, singing and dancing. For dedicated service, one of the Teachers was awarded Certificate of Excellence. Gifts and refreshments were distributed to all students. This wonderful event was concluded with speech from Rtn. B Deb.
