Diabetic Retinopathy Unit
A Diabetic Retinopathy at Priyamvada Birla Aurobindo Eye Hospital was inaugurated on 1 Nov 2023. It is a Global Grant Project of the Club. The total Cost of the project is approx Rs 70 Lakhs. This was a culmination of yearlong work last year to arrange the funds including DDF allocation from the District and to get the Global grant approved. It was to be completed in June 2023, but due to formalities at the foreign co-host club, it got delayed. But it is worth the efforts as we now have an equipment which will be hugely beneficial to the community.
