Project "Ek Prayas" - Celebrated Diwali with mentally challenged & special children
Against the background of the festival of lights, Special educational institutions are inculcating values, tradition and culture in students. Rotary Club of Calcutta New Alipore initiated the project "Ek Prayas" & celebrated Diwali with mentally challenged children at Behala Bodhayan for children with special needs. Gifted breakfast, sweets to children. Also interacted with children and learned about their special needs and activities pre-Diwali. The special children recited poems and songs.
