Drawing Competition

Durga Puja is Bengals most significant festival and everyone from all walks of life participates in it. However, there is a segment of society that is absent from the festivals center of illumination. That is red light areas. Their children have not been included in the main celebration. A sit-and-draw competition for children of sex workers was organised by the Rotary Club of Kolkatas Benevolence. Almost 40 children from the red light area volunteered spontaneously to take part. Prizes were given to the winners, while medals and certificates were given to everyone. A snack box was present in every single one of them. The competition was judged by the well-known Japanese painter Hakata Pochimaru.
