Mega Health Camp at Patharghata, Newtown
RC Salt Lake Metropolitan in association with Kolkata Menopause Society and Shankar Jyoti Netralaya organised a Mega Health Camp at Patharghata, Newtown on 01.10.23.
Beneficiaries were assembled by Shristi, a local organisation. Team of doctors gave awareness talk to assembled women on Menstrual Hygiene, Nutrition, Menopausal Health & Abnormal Uterine Bleeding.
Each beneficiary underwent registration, blood sugar, haemoglobin, BP checking and consulted by doctors. Free Iron and Calcium along with Deworming was given.
Bone Health was taken care by Dr. Bimalendu Sen aided by BMD Scan by company.
Eye screening was done by Shankar Jyoti Netralaya for 38 patients.
50 children were handed over Goody bag by Rtn. Indra Kumar Bagri. Some Frooti, Cakes and Chips were distributed amongst 50 children to cheer up them.
