"Matri Raksha"- Fights Anaemia GG 1991152 - (Camp 32)
32nd Matri Raksha Camp organised by RC Salt Lake Metropolitan in association with Rotary club of Calcutta Galaxy on 8th October 2023 at Diamond harnour JIIT Vivekanand Ashram, Ramkrishnapur , Kulpi 24 Parganas South.
About 109 women were registered, screened for High BP, Sugar, Anaemia by our technical team and consulted by our Rotarian doctors. Each desk was aided by local volunteer ladies and members & president of RC Cal Galaxy herself. Both doctors gave free consultation to 109 women, many of them suffered from low Haemoglobin inspite of menopause.
According to camp analysis, 66 (61%) had haemoglobin level below 12 mg. /dl and 26 (39%) had severe anaemia (<10 mg.). Around 14 (12.8%) patients were suffering from Diabetes, 27 (24.7%) patients were suffering from Hypertensive and referred to physician for further management
