"Matri Raksha"- Fights Anaemia GG 1991152 - (Camp 30)
District Matri Raksha Project (30th Camp) by RC Salt Lake Metropolitan in association with Rotary Club of Serampore held on 24h September 2023 at Sanskritik Parishad Masterpara, Konnagar, Hooghly.
After anaemia awareness talk was given by Dr. Aruna Tantia our camp was started. Total 66 women were screened for Haemoglobin, Sugar and blood pressure and given free iron for 2 to 6 months, deworming and calcium medicine as prescribed by doctor after checking the patients by Dr. Aruna Tantia.
According to camp analysis, 42 (64%) had haemoglobin level below 12 mg. /dl and 26 (39%) had severe anaemia (<10 mg.). Around 5 (7.5%) patients were suffering from Diabetes, 31 (47%) patients were suffering from Hypertensive and referred to physician for further management and sixteen women were advised for ultrasonography.
