Lifestyle Exhibition - Powered by Women
Rotary Salt Lake Metropolitan Kolkata participated in MINERVAS, a Lifestyle Exhibition powered by women and put up a stall naming "Sustainable Solutions" among 30 with and for its NGO partners, organised by Calcutta Chamber of Commerce and Ladies Forum, held at Hotel Hindustan International on September 21, 2023. There stall was decorated with unadulterated ghee, honey and straw baskets from Sundarbans, intricate colorful personal collection of jewelry and self-made designer fabrics and garments brought by Rtn Meenal Chaudhary; variety of handicrafts like pencil holder Diaries, Dolls, dustbins, pots made by Wetland waste. There were some tribal wares and jewellery made by Manab Seba Ashram.
The exhibition was graced by the presence of many celebrities - Ms. Agnimitra Paul (Fashion designor) Ms Alokananda Roy (Classical dancer) & Singer Usha Uthup and other visitors.
