Cancer screening and blood donation camp at Harinavi.
Rotary club of Calcutta Avyanna with Rotary club of Calcutta East Central organized a project in association with Manickpur Chaitali Sangha. This project was initiated on 9th September and was about cancer screening and blood donation. The screening was conducted by NSCRI cancer hospital. More than 100 people attended the awareness camp. 18 people were screened by the colposcope for cervical cancer. A team of 4 oncologists, nurses and technicians sent by NCRI conducted oral,breast and cervical cancer. There was also a cancer awareness talk. More than 100 people joined the camp. There were 12 persons for blood donation.
