Teachers day celebration.
Rotary club of Calcutta Avyanna celebrated teachers day on the 5th of September at Charibeti. It is a school for the disabled children of the slums. Ranu Banerjee, director of IICP came forward and interacted with the children. She also had a session with the teachers. Ranu Banerjee has an experience of forty years in educating special children with disabilities.
Gifts were given to teachers who have the expertise and dedication for special education. The kids performed dance and there was cake cutting too at this happy occasion. The kids and teachers were very happy and grateful for the visit of members of RC AVYANNA. Our experience was satisfying and enriching.
