Rotary Club of Bengal doing its bit too. Online classes being offered by Rotarian Dr. Biplab K Nandi on one to one basis to some of the resident students who stay and study at Sishutirtha School in Shantiniketan. The classes are on helping communication skills in English and Bengali and confidence building. The students are chosen by their Principal Sudripta Tagore. Till now at least 4 students have been given these online classes. They are of classes VIII -XII. They seem to be keen and are enjoying the interaction.
Classes started on 9/10/23, after our recent visit to school. 6 classes a week, Monday through Saturday, 45 minutes each , starts at 8 AM. Till now 9 online classes given in 2 weeks till 18/10/23. From tomorrow Puja holidays and classes will be resumed a
