Safe Drinking Water at Jadavpur Sammilito Balika Vidyalaya
RC of Calcutta Sun City has provided two Nos. Water Filter to Jadavpur Sammilito Balika Vidyalaya Girls School at Baghajatin. The cost of Water filter was partly borne by a close relative of one of our member Rtn. Eva Gupta. Out of total cost of Rs. 44,000 borne by the club for installation of these two water filters Rs. 30,000 was borne by Smt. Bandana Roy, elder sister of Rtn. Eva Gupta. These two water filters will ensure that the girl students will drink clean and safe drinking water. The water filter was handed over to the school in presence of Smt. Maitreyee Das Gupta, Head Mistress along with teachers of the school namely Smt. Rita Das, Smt. Jui Sarkar and Smt. Priyanka Singha. More than 1200 students of the School will be benefited by this project. Club Secretary Rtn. Kaushik Sen, Rtn. Eva Gupta and Rtn. Srilekha Bera an ex-teacher of this school were present on the occasion.
