Thalassemia Awareness Program
During our visit to J.C. Art Kusumika School at Panarhat for Mother and Child medical Check up program Rtn. Dr. Ramendu Hom Chowdhury gave a talk to the mothers present there on Thalassemia Prevention and healthy life Style. His speech was very enthusiastically heard by all the mothers and teachers of the School. Lots of queries raised by them was answered by the speaker. Two thalassemia carriers Smt. Puja Sardar and Smt. Purobi Nath were told as to what precautions to be taken by them before marriage to avoid this dreaded disease.
